Exactly. If pos Stamkos gets at least a fine for his dirty hit just last Saturday on Gerard, then maybe he doesn't use his shoulder to hit Cozens in the face last night...or if he gets a fine for Saturday and still hits Cozens yesterday he gets a game or 2 suspension for being a repeat offender.


As it is now he's squeaky clean even after both dirty hits, and still has no incentive to stop.

If a kid laid out Stamkos with a hit to the head, it's a penalty and/or fine + suspension. If Stamkos lays out a kid, it's "keep your head up, sonny boy."

I agree.

First time offense should be a suspension say 1-5 games depending on the hit/incident in question.

Second time and so on should be longer and longer.

No more free passes because they've never been suspended before.
