Difference with these are it took a couple years to realize this. People (myself included) are calling this now, a year ago, poop when he got drafted. This is not a slight on him as a player, even though you will take it that way. This is saying I see the talents that the other guys are showing and have showed and it appears they have higher upsides. Again, I will gladly take being wrong. - SDSabre
Only Lundell has shown he'll be better at this point and uhhh 3 other teams didn't think so either.
Perfetti and Rossi have done nothing |

Perfetti did what Quinn is doing this year, last year. And he's a center. Rossi for obvious reasons hasn't played yet. But keep going. |

Which isn't to say they won't be good or great (or suck). My point has and always will be, the knee-jerk reactions on players needs to stop. They'll all develop at their own pace.
Ryan Miller or even Linus Ullmark didn't make it as full time goalies until they were both 25, but we're giving up on UPL already (at 22)? ("At least we have Portillo and Levi". Neither of whom has played ANY professional hockey). |

You mean Perfetti and Quinn basically played the same last year except Quinn played with an injury

Saying I would rather have picked Rossi, Lundell, or Perfetti, and maintained that stance since the draft, is hardly knee jerk. Same with most of the people who talk about Quinn. Hopefully he's a good NHLer for us. Just don't want to see one of ( or all) become stars and Quinn just be a good NHLer. Don't know why we get a "hater" label for the above. |

Not exactly.
Perfetti 9 G 26P in 32 GP .8125 per game
Quinn 2 G 9P in 15 GP .6 per game
But you know, the same. |

Then I don't ever want to see a reflection post from you or any Quinn supporter about last year, the year before or even last game. Only today matters. |

You can go back to almost any pick over the last 10 years but you love to use Quinn as the whipping boy

I'd take Leon over Sam, Necas over Mitts, Sergachev over Nylander, Horvat over Risto
I mean you can go back to almost any pick at any draft over the last 10-15 years and select a better player.
Not the way I like to look at my players though. - DirtyDan
In all fairness the pick was always one of the sams
tbh i saw Horvat play a few time's in jrs and each tiem he looked garbage honestly was out played every time by chris tierney |

Yeah, because it's almost like I'm ok with having an opinion about it. And since the NHL is widely a first round talent league (like 60% of the players or something like that are taken in the first round) it's kind of important to hit on those guys. |

They have a coach with a pulse for the first time since Ted Nolan
No Bylsma whiteboard
No Housley gum chewing
No Ralph smirking
Granato actually yelled yesterday. Imagine that |

I have yet to see Perfetti or Rossi be a hit yet you say they've shown they'll be for sure centers in the big league

It's probably easier to get on the players without the likes of Eichel, Rhino and Ristolainen in the locker room. |

I'm not even talking about yelling at the players. He was furious with the linesmen for that icing call. I don't remember any of the past 3 stiffs getting animated about anything |
