The Panthers are getting roasted on twitter.

If Joel Quenneville gets suspended tomorrow for his role in the Blackhawks scandal, couldn't the NHL have just suspended him tonight, pending a hearing?
FFS, in 2008 NHL suspended Sean Avery "indefinitely" hours before game for a "sloppy seconds" joke in the locker room. |

Horrible and heartbreaking.
It's a total insult that Q has not been fired yet.

This is so tough to watch. My heart goes out to the guy. Did this derail his career? He was a highly touted prospect. I remember many of us being pissed that Buffalo didnt draft him. How could it not have impacted his career? Anyone linked to this should be gone from hockey, including Q. |

he told beach winning the cup was more important then sexual assault
can't get much worse then that - homiedclown

He never spoke to Beach. Beach’s quote was “Bowman was quoted Q as saying -and this is not a quote, these are my words- that Q thought...cup was more important...”
It’s a quote but it’s in his words? Did Bowman actually sat that?
Beach believes Q knew, but there are questions as to what he was told at that meeting. It’s all just so fukked up. I wonder if we’ll ever know the whole truth.

I am doing good with the shoulder, Thanks
I am back to work part time, I switched jobs to just training know. Can't physically do my other job anymore. I go and see the Doctor on the 1st, hopefully will release me for full time hours. Just want to get through the next 2yrs and I will have 20 in. Great thing is my Company does work for the military so every prior service member that gets there 20 in gets a nice bonus and then I am gonna retire. - Buff36
Awesome, glad to hear it buddy!
Best of luck for Monday.
I took a new job, would like to work for 3 - 5 years more. I was having health issues 2 years ago and had to stop working for like 6 months...I wasn't then, nor am I now ready for retirement. We'll see how that goes. |

All the way up to the owners replacing Bettmen? - Gr8daygo
I've been advocating for Bettman to be replaced by a more forward-thinking commish for years now. Someone who will craft the rules to benefit stars rather than protect goons.
I don’t currently believe he has reason to lose his job for this, but I'd like to see him step aside for the good of the game.
It's not really my place to discuss the Panthers but I think Quenneville should step aside as a direct result of this. If it were the Sabres who employed him, I would hope he'd be gone |

I’m just looking for a reason to bag Bettmen. I haven’t been able to stand him for years! Longer than the Sabres playoff drought…. Clearly Bettmen has the owners backing and it’s the old guard owners that have the true power in the nhl. It would be nice for new leadership up top. But it’s going to take Bettmen and some of the old guard to step aside. And would jacobs kid be more forward thinking than jacobs, for example…. |

What rules were implemented that protect goons over stars?

Bettman got his 32 teams, stabilized his southern expansion project and landed ESPN. I think he'll head out shortly but it'll probably be Bill Daly who takes over.

That's 100% on the owners, he does their bidding, not the other way around.

None, but the rules allow stars to be mugged with impunity, and aside from one year nothing has been done about it. |

It's a matter of not calling obstruction penalties - hooking, holding, grabbing, clutching. Defensemen "slowing down" forwards entering the offensive zone while they don't have the puck. |

Quenneville needs to go. He knew.
And as for Duncan Keith? (frank) him, too. Brent Sopel and another player came out and said that every single player in that locker room knew. |

What about Crosby donkey punching players in plain view and nothing happening. |
