Let’s face it. If this thing keeps dragging on and the young team keeps playing well the pressure to trade Jack will intensify. This idea that KA can wait as long as he wants to get his asking price is simply a pipe dream. Jack’s value is already down and Adams knows with each passing day he may have to bite the bullet and settle for much less than hoped for. I’ll give him credit for hanging in there but when this is all done he may be down the road kickn a coke can. Fun to watch this play out.

They might feel blowback on helping the team win now. As far as punishment, how can one hold another player responsible for a management decision. The player may have shared it with his teammates, but 1) I doubt it 2) What could they have done? Management already knew, and that's about the extent of what even captain serious could have done.
