Result of a stupid turnover leading to a Keller breakaway from center ice in. I think there were around 5 minutes left in the 2nd(!) before Knight made his first save of the game.
Knight is gonna have to talk to Broduer for some pointers on staying sharp while you’re just standing there in the crease mostly watching for 15 minutes at a time.

hell of a shooting percentage though

AZ is like one of those senior active living communities. At least they're providing some activities for Ladd, Stralman, Beagle, Erikkson, Kessel and Hutton. Keeps the mind sharp

I thought Quinn was a bust? And JJ was the next Eichel... but it seems they're both good players

Can we relax on this a bit.

How many prospects do the Sabres have to have be AHL golden boys only to fail at the NHL level.

its great he's playing well, but it needs to translate at the next level still.

I hope im 5000% wrong about him and he turns out to be a 30-40 goal guy every year.

Ill happily eat my words if he does.

He's on the rise again. I think it was MP who said it, but if him and JJ can develop some chemistry on the farm and bring that next year, could add a nice element to a scoring line.

I'm not the one calling him a bust before he even plays any time in the big club

If Tallon wouldn’t have overpaid Stralman so badly, I wouldn’t mind him still being on the Panthers as their 6/7 D. They needed to free up his cap space, so he had to go.

Is the Sam bet total points, or goals only?

Personally the argument I've made since the second he was drafted was that he probably needed more development time than his peer group (early-mid first rounders). Beating him down because of his performance last year was unnecessary and folks are going to really see his talent shine in Rochester this year.

I told you that every time he’d score a goal (in the AHL) we’d see the “I was told he sucks” posts, when absolutely no one has said he sucks

Allowed to be? Yelled at for being for? Or putting all our hope into?

Hm..whole season guys.. I'd say Olofsson. Thompson, Bryson, Samuelsson, Mittelstadt, Ruotsalainen probably all took a back seat to him.

Quinn, Peterka and to a lesser degree, Samuelsson and Wiessbach are the four I want to see big things from this season.

Let's see what happens (now that the "Quinn Hater" Club is back peddling) when he goes into a slump. They'll be ready to run him out of town like some are on UPL already.

Ive really liked his play, i feel hes tied up the man where in the past risto would be staring at the goal score with his stick on his hips. Hes greatly improved his trade stock
