Of course not. Everything he has ever accomplished shall be deemed moot, of no consequence, and to be forever judged though the lens of his falibility on this issue. And that is the meaning of "cancel culture" oh great one. - fvineze
Gee - there’s that code word again - in a post without an argument of logic or fact.
Why am I not surprised…. |

Nice to hear you say it, Elbows. Thought about and witness the same thing. Favoring something big-time. - gabriel
When he was walking in on opening night, he had a hitch in / was favoring his left leg. Now whether that is location of the issue or his leg just fell asleep waiting to be called, not sure how it would affect his shooting and passing that much.

Or maybe it’s not a surgical situation. - StLBravesFan
There was some mention of a surgical route as a possibility but some athletes choose to put it off until their careers are over.
Since the exact nature is unknown us fans, it was never directly applied to Kane by name. Its why I think it may be his wrist or shoulder. The shoulder being something like a rotator cuff type of lingering issue that he can play through.

Can't blame him at all for not naming it. He's already a target and they'd go straight for the injured spot.

Kane? He has always had a bit of wonky gait. Prolly from spending most of his life on skates. |

Exactly and it was more to highlight that it is all pure speculation from all of us.
EDIT: Meant to comment on this yesterday but the whole its a locker room thing people were chatting about? To me, that is more along the lines is the answers are in this locker room. Meaning they can't be looking to coaches to solve their problems. They need to gel as a team and learn to trust one another. Its not uncommon for teams with so many new faces. Not to say there hasn't been some finger pointing but again, not all that unusual for a very frustrated team |

Yeah, I trust the scouts too. It just stuck out to me because he added Tarasenko tried getting the Blues to sign Panarin as they were buds/teammates. - I Am The Breadman
Hossa told Bowman to get Panik, he had nothing to do with signing or scouting Panarin. |

Yeah, a few fellow fans and I were commenting in real time that it looked more "wonk" than usual. |

That's the vibe I got from the statements - that they need to figure out how to come together and form an identity as a team.

Which, imo, is one of the main things a coach should be stressing. That is one of the biggest reasons I think JC should go. Its infuriating in every game, the other team always seems far more organized. |

Yes, to be sure - and much of the process should be led by the veteran leaders - especially the lettermen. |

Are they frat members in a school? And kicked out for bad words?
These are professionals with contracts. If there are/were issues between the men, they can have those conversations (apologize/make amends as they see fit) between men.
This idea of going back to someones "words" 10yrs ago and wanting to tar and feather them, put them in the stockade is a pathetic mindset. - PatShart
I don't want to, either, just wondering why the different treatment.
To me, the dirtiest thing that the Hawks did was to have Gary victim shame. On purpose. Anyone involved in that is a pig. Stan got the issue to McD, and it appears it got to HR. But that isn't enough for the crowd. Just wondering why the exemption for some employees. |

Don't know what the Avs and Vegas are thinking, they consistently have rushes up the ice with 3 forwards. |

Kane's last Olympics? He's playing at 38.
With training these days, Kane will easily play until 40 (barring injury, of course)
I wonder if Kane's former rommie calls now in Kevyn Adams
It's going to get very interesting to see what they do
Do they fire JC and bring in a vet coach now - like the Astros did with Dusty - simply to "handle it" ? Like if Torts was the coach and began getting asked, he may change the "narrative" quick
Or stay status quo all year with interim GM and JC? - PatShart
Exactly what I was thinking over the summer. |

More like a wonky wonk wonk. Must not be killing him if he's suiting up and still producing. Still doesn't appear to be playing full throttle hockey. Just my opinion, and I don't think we're alone.

McD didn't exactly get the issue to HR in a timely fashion. |
