Didn't Stutzle say he does not want to play center? He's only 29% in the faceoff circle of the ones he's taken thus far in the NHL.

I did read something over the summer about Stutzle not being overly-keen about playing C... will have to look back to find the source. Regardless, it's clear that the organization was just shoveling more horse$hit when they were talking about him being a C back at the 2020 draft. For that matter, shame on those posters on this site that just blindly took the bait from Dorion full hook, line, and sinker, and were chirping at those among us who saw this coming a mile away.
I've been pretty vocal about this issue, but the team's lack of a "C" plan has been pretty evident from day 1. That said, it's kind of strange how much of their current "C" situation came from the Sharks... Tierney/Norris from the Karlsson trade, and now Gambrell. Hertl would certainly make it a complete set/team reunion, if they were able to make that happen.
