A Panini press is really one of my favorite tools... You can do so much.
My oddest creation? I had some super fresh small bakery apple fritters that I cut in half; I fried up a bunch of peppercorn bacon, pancetta, and thick cut double smoked bacon, added aged white cheddar, and bacon jam, and panini pressed the whole mess together. The glaze bruleéd, and it was so good. The sweet of the fritter was offset by all that salty bacon, leaving a smoky pork flavour. |

you should definitely sign up to participate in a bunch of cooking competition shows, I'm sure you'd do very well.

have you seen some of the competitors though in those shows? sure there's people that know what they're doing but there are so many schmucks as well, even if you get the whole place dirty as hell you'd end up with a delicious plate. anyway, my 2 cents, and keep sharing your culinary experiences |
