I havent watched a second of the Oilers play...but a quick glance at the stats....they are not killing it..5v5 is pretty average...doesnt strike me as a dominant team..so far

years passed that was us if anyone remembers. scoring a ton, blowing teams out. a powerplay that couldn't be stopped. that never lasted long or ended well for us.

So what happened to the leafs, will happen to every team?
Back then, the leafs were garbage in their own end and depended heavily on their goalie to stand on his head every game. That hasnt been the case with the oilers....yet.
They'll lose a few for sure, but for now, they've played well.
