Excellent write up baller:
We're definitely lacking the big time playmakers.
Positives:
More ice time for the young players
Key ice time for the young players
More time to evaluate players in the system
I havent been following along. What's the general feel on colin Miller?
He's picking up points, but has been terrible in person. - Boss34
Sounds like a reason Vegas was willing to part with him. My .02 is that he has warts but he's good at manning the point in the offensive zone and he adds a touch of physicality. I'm ambivalent to him overall. He's fine for what he is: a 4/5 dman |

he was dropped down to a third-pairing d-man in vegas but was still considered a legit pp weapon from the point |

I haven't seen such ability to miss the net from the point since Zhitnik was destroying the glass behind the opposing net. |

I don't think it's as hot diarrhea as posting the pic of that Canadian/American pod caste douche who attacks people for who they are and many other things and that stupid tell me I'm wrong saying but we all have opinions. |

so pham said that skinner will never see 20 goals again...
"from a goal-scorers standpoint it's gone on too long...and it happens to goal-scorers, they get to a point in their career where they just don't score any more. It happened to james neal...i feel it's just to a point now where, i've watched for a third year now where he gets great chances and just can't finish them anymore. I don't think he can get to 20 anymore, maybe 15 or 17"

I just believe professionals should put the breaks on the fawning love for administrators and say hopefully impressive, they have a very solid pedigree and background and bring a great experience but "outstanding" before they prove it? It's almost like these guys have their PR machine in certain parts of the Buffalo legit and illiget media. I don't think Scotty Bowman was labeled as outstanding by a supposed legit person in the media when he was hired in the various cities he coached in. - GilPerreault11
I could be wrong but it think Sam Ventura is highly thought of because he did a very good job in the same role for the penguins.
He might not have experience with the Sabres but I believe the praise is well earned. |

The boat has to float first. We're not worried about that just yet. They're still plugging holes. |

skinner's still only 29 yrs. old, which isn't very old for the type of game he plays...that said, we shall see |

Well, he it was his first sports job out of college and praise is one thing, hope and stating what he did and then saying he brings a solid background that was a very solid and impressive hire but "outstanding" along with the website guy was too much Kool-aid for my liking especially for a supposed professional. but hey, other fans can like it.

As far as hiring goes it was an outstanding hiring... he's one of the best in the business at what he does. He has the credentials.

Thats actually very old for his style.
He relies on speed.
speed goes first. Then what.
he's Kyle Okposo but on a worse contract, and worse defensively. |
