Well I meant your avatar with the turtle shell. Which should be your October avatar for the rest of your HB career. - mr.peanut
jfc...
I think I would most likely get very uncomfortable if I wore my costume for so long, but I will consider wearing it for a day or two around Halloween |

I was thinking the same, it's pretty cool lol... but I don't have a keurig/other brand thingy, so it sorta defeats the purpose. |

Maybe Pat was being a little facetious. That’s $460x3. That felt like highway robbery. My boys were Shark fans so I just went for it. They were blown away by the scene of all the Pens skating around with the Cup and I enjoyed it too. But that did wreck my budget.

perhaps I misunderstood, I thought you got really good seats for 400$ each, which like I was saying is usually way more expensive for playoff games at the Bell centre.

They weren’t terrible seats. Mid level behind the goal. The Shark Tank has good sight lines pretty much everywhere. The premium seats were going for over a grand.
Talk about economic immaturity. Parking, hot dogs, and a 20oz $15 beer - $1500. Yeah…sign me up for that immature group.

and yeah, I thought you were basically saying you got premium seats for 400$, which is why I thought it was a heck of a deal, especially for a Stanley cup final lol |

Game 4 of the Cup final this past playoffs cost my buddy about $11k all in for him and the wife |

When we were leaving the parking ramp my youngest said, “Dad,we don’t have to stop to eat.” I thought I showed some maturity when I took his advice.

Hihihi!
Thanks for the invite Pat. Nice place you have here.
(....Wanders around....soaking up the atmosphere, in awe of all the memories...)
I can just imagine how it must have been....standing on the usual route .. waiting for the Cup to appear...... the good old days eh?...
But hey! How about a fun fact to brighten every non-Leaf fan's day?
It is a fact that Calgary Flames' back up goalie has more points than Auston Matthews. True dat.
Thanks for the invite Pat. Sure was fun. Hope I didn't damage your reputation too much. I'll stop by again sometime before Nov 11th if that's ok.
(Shuts the door very quietly and reverentially as he makes his way back to Cowtown.)

to be honest I don't even know what to think of it. I think I'd rather pretend that people are trolling, it's easier than acknowledging the idea that these are actual opinions lol

The more absurd your thoughts, the louder and more aggressive you need to be to present your absurd thoughts as obvious facts. Debating with the dog would be more productive and significantly more enjoyable |
