I actually had "we used to celebrate cup wins, but now we celebrate winning rounds because placating to franco-nationalists became our teams top priority" originally.

meh, I'm aware the habs' glory days of winning the cup every year are over, but I still do enjoy their playoff wins very much, even if they lost against TB, last year's run was just an awesome time. valiant effort though.

kickbro wanted to go. he's never shown much of an interest in sports but he works for comcast and they offered employees really good seats for $25 and he bought em and said he wanted to go. he actually came up with the idea right before covid and we had tix for a game in march that year, but we all know what happened so we didn't make it to that game.

so it was really fun. shame they lost but i think he just wanted to see it and take in the experience and see what it's all about.

that's awesome, what section were you in? and 25 bucks..?? holy. how much are the tickets usually in Philly? probably a bit less expensive than at the Bell, their prices are just (frank)ing insane.

Anyway I can't believe I post about the Leafs losing and I am met with so much aggressive hostility.

Good night!

pretty sure these should have been super expensive. we were in 123 (just inside the blue line), 18 rows off the ice.

sweet. is the beer 10 bucks for a tall can?

I remember going to a habs playoff game against the bruins a few years back, over 300 dollars a ticket for seats in the "Molson Ex" zone, which is basically the farthest you can be from the ice. perhaps these are regular prices but I find it's a tad expensive, although I had such an awesome time and don't regret a thing about it.

$14 i think it was!

i don't think flyers tix are as much as habs tix if $300 was far from the ice. i remember sitting up top for like $45 a few years back.

14 bucks?? holy, I hope it's cold lol...

yeah keep in mind though it was a playoff game, the demand at the Bell for those tickets is so high they can basically jack up the prices as much as they want and they're still gonna sell them.
