I had to google what a "natural hat trick" is, wasn't too sure about that lol...

so Damphousse's hat trick in 98 wasn't natural (it was artificial lololollzzz), but I started looking up hat tricks scored by habs players and it sure looks like Philip Danault scored 3 goals against Vegas on December 22nd, 2018...

I think the Damphousse thing was first reported by TVA... don't really know how/where to look for those natural hat tricks, but if you want you can look at the box scores individually on this hat trick list (I'm too lazy for that, sorry lol):

but seriously though to be honest I don't really care about hat tricks, but I see what you're getting at, Evans isn't the most gifted player offensively, but again I think he'll do just fine, and the team doesn't really have to rely on his goal-scoring all that much either

btw, Perreault came very close to get 4 last night. the Chiarot goal was inches away of deflecting on Perreault in front of the net.
