I think I'm a good faith interlocutor who tries to articulate points in a good faith manner (sure, there's some sarcasm and snark, but it's never over-the-line). If people want to perceive me as being "purely negative" that's on them and not me because I have been positive many times with this team: Willie defender, Dubas defender (with Marner contract exception), consistent AM34 fanboy, and have only ragged on Keefe per the PP.

Sometimes I think people only want to hear positive takes on this team and get sick of seeing some of the same criticisms again and again. I get it. But when you perceive the same poop over and over again how can you not repeat yourself?

It's funny, when I read through the comments section on PPP posts I see a LOT of criticism from a lot of very informed posters. Some of those posters come across as massive egos but I can, at least, appreciate their arguments because they at least come from an informed perspective. If those opinions were voiced in this forum the angst from some here would be off the charts.

To wit: if you think I'm being a Richard or too critical, ignore my post and move on. But I'm not trying to be a negative asshat who just comes here to vent incoherent bs.

Lastly, I'm not speaking for anyone else here but myself.

I don’t think there’s anything in their play to date that suggests contender or bust. To me, positive simply means talented players get it together at the right time and enough of the new guys add enough to produce a playoff run. So far only one addition seems to be falling short. Hopefully that changes. I think the talent guys will figure it out.
