I think you throw that game out the window. I can’t think of one player that wasn’t terrible last night. There’s a bunch of players that were tied for worst though.

Passes were unbelievably bad and they whole team looked exhausted. Brush the game off and see what happens in carolina on Monday. If it continues with certain players then time to start the benching.

Seems like Brind is finally playing Svech the amount he should. Canes constantly doing an interesting revolving door of being interesting.

I stopped watching after the 4th or maybe 5th goal (they were coming pretty quickly). Every line except for the 4th on occasion was getting beaten to the puck all night. So, blend away. If there are adjustments that make hockey sense right now, make them. I know everybody has their individual fall guys but I don’t think you can cut the whole team’s minutes. If anybody didn’t get a message from that game and comes out flat for the next one, Dubas should put a little checkmark next to their name and start thinking about options. No exceptions.

This doesn't have to be a strategy that lasts several games -- it's a message that you are not entitled to big minutes because of your big contracts. Keefe needs to staple some asses to the bench if players are still not playing like there's a fire lit under their ass even with line blending and less ice-time doled out.

Pretty sure Dubas already has some checkmarks next to names though he likely isn't floating any names at this point. That could change very quickly.

Yeah the biggest thing is he's not on a checking line any more.

Playing 16 minutes per night with Necas and that poop-disturber Trocheck is good for him. Seems like he's figured out he can pretty much just skate right through and over guys if he wants to.

Aho's learned how to score in October for once too. Kid might hit 100 points this year at this rate.
