I can't figure out why the talk is about Ritchie on this. The other two guys on that line literally make 22 million dollars. Is the 2 mil winger that gets put with them now responsible for getting them going?

Exactly, they need a 4+ million winger to be at all effective? I’m not even against their contracts but they got that money with the understanding that they can drive a line and produce regardless who’s one their wing. It’s not like they are dominating and Ritchie is a pylon, they can barely gain the zone without turning the puck over at the blue line. If anything Ritchie might be deferring to them too much.
