Well I hope so, but I am more worried about getting good hockey players. They can add Centers in the draft if they have to.

I don’t mind Dahlin because he’s all over the ice anyways and it’s not like he’s a stud defender where his play would significantly drop there

Film of him playing on Jr. Ducks shows alot on the right side and some on the left.
However, I believe he was shifted to the left side at Michigan and at the WJC.
I would suspect he stays there, but like Dahlin has had time on the right.

A broader discussion is needed about how to quantify and assess what it truly means to play quality defense, but it will likely take full player tracking being in place before that can happen.

I'm not sure if Jokiharju is part of the D when it is filled out by the prospects they have and any trades they make with players this admin likes.

No, as my real job takes too much of my time.

I'd have to build a database and all the tables to be able to consume all the available data to then be able to build out reports that navigate the array of data and make it easily digestible.
