I want to see Peterka on this team soon. He's ready and they're ready for him. - Hank Balling
They could definitely use him. And 6 more like him. |

Hopefully they don't make Nico Daws look like Marty Brodeur. |

anderson is average at best
okposo is slow
dahlin isn't a defensive dynamo
d-corps is weak spot
effort is there, finish is not
they'll be able to beat a small group of teams, will be able to hang with some others, might get lucky against better teams and don't have a prayer against the best teams that are on their game...
#growingpains - Michael Pachla
Succinct yet accurate. Well done.

Agree, as long as they keep pushing and don't quit on themselves I am fine. They played a decent game last night. The effort is there, they just have to find the finish. |

Well we will find out what kind of coaches we have, and what kind of players we have then. |

Dahlin is Dahlin
Power looks like a sure fire top 4 stud
Johnson looks like a better skating Ryan McDonagh shut down D
Bryson looks like a perfect #5/6 on a contending team
I’d look and see what’s out there for Samuelsson. Maybe there’s a young goal scorer like Arthur Kailyev available for him |

three days ago everyone was ga-ga over what was on display during their 3-0 start...it took one game for the bridge-jumping to begin...doesn't make sense to me - Michael Pachla
They can continue to play this way but the issue is and has been ownership and culture.

i like the idea of samuelsson sticking...size and grit, as long as there are nhl qualities, is something the sabres really need now and into the future |

no argument here, washburn...the wall between ownership and the players needs to be kagm/management plus coaching/development staff |

I like him too but Power has size, Dahlin is 6’2 and get more physical as time goes on.
Johnson isn’t small either
I think Samuelsson is expendable and probably due to size/age might hold the most value out of Johnson/Samuelsson/Bryson |

i'm with you, but still like the idea
___ - dahlin
power - ___
samuelsson - ___
plus, i think the big guy could be a force on the pk |

If you could swap a guy who’s probably limited to the 4-6 role for a potential top 6 forward I think I make the swap.
However, I won’t be mad if they move someone else |

I'd be looking to sell high on one or two players by the end of this season, and Bryson might be one. |
