The Sabres play one decent team and get their butts kicked.

It was nice to be at an nhl game again but boy does cozens a worry me in person. We clearly need a 1C

Tonight’s game we simply got out classed. Work hard but just couldn’t do anything. Ullmark could’ve been sippin on pino colada’s back there tonight and would’ve been fine

Hank, they dropped the play-by-play in the second by design when they went with the different camera angles for those couple minutes.

It was to give the viewer a different side, visually, but Buccigross also said to enjoy the "sounds of the game", as well.

They called it something (which escapes me at the moment) and it read that, next to the score (up in the corner of the TV screen).

Oh, and I loved the shot counter. Great touch.

Goaltending was bad. Dahlin was worse. Okposo was slow. If Skinner can’t score he is totally useless.
Overall still a B+ to watch.

And if Rossi does better in Iowa City, does Quinn still suck?

I’m not impressed with Cozens this season. He is a TO machine right now. He seems to be thinking too much. Just my uneducated view.

Overall the problem is still a billionaire+6 - currently eroding away the organization’s best asset.

I’m saying it now Dahlin will want out by mid season next year…

Imo, the turnovers are coming because he's trying to do too much. He's trying to skate between defenders. Once he figures it out, he's going to be hard to handle, because he's so good w the puck, but right now not so much.

Thought it was his best game last night, he isn't getting any puck luck.

The data leaves little doubt. Greedo Rossi has no assists, he refuses to pass, he has boycotted it entirely.

Bad luck or like the one announcer said " It was a great save" more like pure luck.

We got a few bounces in those first few games, here's to hoping it isn't a new pattern, the score wasn't indicative of the game overall. Linus got lucky, you're right.

They played a decent game, think they outplayed Boston for large portions of the game.

Good effort. Outplayed the B's and did not abandon the game plan with irresponsible breakdowns in the 3rd period.

Scored with a handful of minutes left and made things interesting prior to the empty net goal.

They outplayed Boston. plain and simple. A little more puck luck on a the five hole Cozens (should have been goal), post shot and Thompson whiff....

I'll take this losing EFFORT over whatever we all have been watching over the past decade or so.

Good job. Keep it going. Happy to see that the game of hockey has returned to Buffalo, NY.

I remember an NFL game in the 80's (?) without announcers. It was good.

Jack vs. Doc….

Sabres want doc. Jack wants Jack.

Can’t really blame either. This isn’t a 4th line plug with a $750k contract.

Insurance company probably has more pull than most think. And that’s the company backing the $50 mill due Jack if poop goes sideways…

Some teams seem ok with Jack’s option. Are those teams flipping the bill for the $50 mill if the insurance company says F off?!?

It’s such a jacked up situation. And now the season is under way and you’d have to figure out cap situations in any trade that make it much more challenging.

Teams could make it work but are holding out for pennies on the dollar.

I like Adams holding firm. He’s come this far. Why the hell fold now.

1) top prospect (turcott, Byfield, krebs, zary, Zegras)
2) 22 first.
3)
4)
Cap as needed

Starts the discussion or piss off…

I’ll waiver on the 4th piece if the other 3 are solid.

I’ll take anchor contracts back up to 3 years

I’ll take a tarasanko hold celery and flip.

I’ll add in an Olofson or prospect (not a great one) to grease the wheels of a deal.

I’ll take a conditioned 23 1st …

There should be some wheeling and dealing for a, young, cost controlled, top 10 NHL talent… when healthy…

I think 2 pass across goals let in by anderson were not his fault. No goalie stops those goals.

You are right about okposlow and dahlin though
