Liberals, ideas that are so great that they have to be implemented by force.

That’s how your country was founded.
For all of you out there spouting the common good.
I don’t owe you anything. Hear that and understand that.
I am not sick and I’ll walking around spreading the plague because I may or not be vaccinated.
I don’t owe you a room in my house because your homelessness
I don’t owe you money I earned because you don’t have any.
I don’t owe you my time and energy because you need help.
I don’t need to do with less because you need.
Period end of discussion there is no debate.
To say otherwise is indentured servitude.
There is no such thing as a social contract.

LOL You're either trolling away or a major sucker. Why not just move to Russia? They clearly operate the way you prefer. - Rinosaur
I'm the sucker? You're the one that falls for everything CNN and MSNBC tells you. Democrats don't have any critical thinking skills. It's almost like you just accept everything you read or see online. |

if you were based in montreal would it be poutine-esque? - Michael Pachla
Poutine is the one thing worth going to MTL for, that's for sure. We finally have a place near me in NJ that does the real thing. |

i find it a rather weird combo, but it's pretty damn good...have heard mixed reviews on mtl, although it seems like most 'muricans aren't thrilled with a chilly, at best, Quebecois reception

Growing up in NJ and NY, gravy on fries as diners was a common thing. Specifically in NJ we have what's called Disco Fries which are fries with gravy and cheese sauce. I don't find that particularly appetizing, but the poutine version is great IMO.

Seems the amount of unvaccinated players is about on par with the population average 80-85%. They all deserve to have the choice, choices have consequences both positive and negative. |

I have no doubt most of you are great, kind people in real life. But what the my-freedom crowd don’t understand is that no one is perfect, no policy is perfect and there is no perfect answer to complex social problems like a pandemic. When anti-vaxxers are presented with information that goes against their thoughts, they don’t question whether their logic make sense or not. They don’t stop and think that maybe they don’t know everything. I’m not perfect and I change my mind a lot when I’m presented with information that makes sense after thinking it through and talking about it. You don’t have to be perfect (no one is) and you shouldn’t expect other to people to be either. Stop putting that pressure on yourself. You’re allowed to make mistakes, or change your minds. Life is short, try to be kind to yourself and those around you. You don’t have to agree on everything to understand that you need to work together to solve big problems. COVID is a big problem, not so much anymore because most of us are vaccinated. Maybe there’s something here about being vaccinated. I encourage you to visit hospitals and go see firsthand what the damage is. Just because you’re lucky now, doesn’t mean you’ll be lucky later. Seriously, it doesn’t make sense that a vaccine that was prioritized for the elderly that are keeping them safe that’s been given to hundreds of millions of people is as dangerous as you think it is. Wearing a mask is no big deal, you can take it off later at home. If nothing else you take from this conservation, I hope you guys try to make being kind cool again. |

This is wonderful sentiment, but we've unfortunately reached a point where the people who hold their anti-vax stance for whatever rationale they use are too far gone. When science and facts don't make a dent, the issue is clearly much deeper than the ability to understand the facts and science.

Those are wonderful. I used to live in Las Vegas and there's a hot dog place that make cheese fries with elote, which if you're not familiar, is roasted corn with seasoning, cotija cheese and sometimes mayo.
