Your first statement is factually incorrect. The fatality rate across all age groups is around 1.5% and borders on the statistically insignificant at younger end of the spectrum. Secondly, now that vaccines have been publicly available to everyone for over 6 months and most vulnerable age group, 65+ is nearing full vaccination status (the only age group where vaccination rates really matter based on the data), it’s no longer a public health debate.

The debate now shifts to personal choice as people now have to assume risk now that vaccines are widely available. That’s the crux of the matter. The rest of your post is just pablum.

Just because he chose not to get this specific vaccination, you made a conscious decision to slander him as anti-vax, when in actuality, you have no idea. You have no idea why he chose not to. It could be he is allergic to some of the ingredients. It could be he has family who had adverse reactions to it. It may even be religious and he doesn’t want anything derived from fetal cells in his body. It’s his choice and you made the conscious decision to infer he made that decision for nefarious reasons. The fact is, he hasn’t revealed the reason behind his decision, yet you think you know, and you do not.

It amazes me how many grown adults have their feelings hurt by the medical decisions of people they don’t know and in most cases, by people they’ll never meet. His teammates are supporting his decision. His team and management are supporting his decision, yet YOU think YOU know what’s best for his health, when in truth, you know NOTHING.

One huge potential dangerous side effect is not just the vaccine itself and how it might seriously harm the body directly but also this: How might this vaccine interact with other medications or supplements that the person is taking?(Grapefruit and certain medications can cause you to become very ill or die as an example) I can point to numerous cases where physicians had no clue how the various medications they prescribed would interact with each other and those synergies caused people to be hospitalized or die. I just had a case where a dentist prescribed an antibiotic after a root canal and crown procedure and had no clue how it interacted with the patients other medications. Said person ended up in the hospital with GI bleeding..It happens more often than you think. You have to be your own patient advocate these days and learn what questions to ask...

If you are not vaccinated I do not want to attend events with you. I don't want to meet you socially and I don't want you going into the same restaurants that I choose.
