Ban yourself, ageist. - Canada Cup
But then I'll end up on some other hockey rumour board with you after you are also banned for your obvious hatred and outright discriminatory behaviour against my goalie brethren and I.
We can't have that so guess what - we both stay! Hip Hip Hoooooray!!!!!

Could the scheduler have given Montreal an easier start to the season? 2 teams in the first five games made the playoffs last year. None of the next six made the playoffs. - winsix
This isn't last year.
Buffalo and Sharks are undefeated.
The team that we came the closest to beat are the Leafs ffs.

Your defenceman knew it was going in. Guy wasn’t even setting up to pick up a rebound - Canada Cup
You may think so but I have learned that is the 'natural reacton' from my D men when they are beat and give up a breakaway.....
The fact we were up by 6 or 7 goals at this point also factored in I'm sure, likely a "why should I hustle back and risk hurting myself there is cold beer to be consumed regardless".

I'll ignore the first one.
I'm a fan of goalies flashing the leather like that tho!
Congrats on the Ref gig. Just think of every new post as a break away, you'll do fine. - Barb34
I was 2 for 3 on breakaways that game, I'll take it. My guys decided to be on fire to start the game and I didn't see a shot until almost 7 minutes into the game and we were up 3 or 4 by then. Of course first shot of the game I do see - breakaway.
Bastards.

I'm 49 (it hurts to type that) and did not play at any high level at all. I played house league hockey until I was 19 or 20 then didn't play at all until I was 35 because I was moving all over the place for work etc. Adjusting to the new style of gear and way to play was / has been a challenge but I figure I can hold my own in my 35+ league.
The love for the game is strong enough to take the pain. lol

I just read an article that said Alec Baldwin accidentally killed one of the film staff and injured another with a prop gun during a scene on that set.
Complete accident but it sounds like there may have been a live round in the gun. How the (frank) that situation happens - especially after the Brandon Lee incident years ago on the set of The Crow - is beyond me. - mjones242
Prop guns can still kill without a bullet.
In 1984, an actor named Jon-Erik Hexum was fooling around with his prop gun. He played Russian roulette, thinking it was safe. He died from horrible head injuries.
Apparently wadding still gets ejected from the barrel.
