Godamnit if it isn't the greatest country in the world for leather pants. I would imagine Sweden is similar.

I'm 49 (it hurts to type that) and did not play at any high level at all. I played house league hockey until I was 19 or 20 then didn't play at all until I was 35 because I was moving all over the place for work etc. Adjusting to the new style of gear and way to play was / has been a challenge but I figure I can hold my own in my 35+ league.

The love for the game is strong enough to take the pain. lol

Sounds like it was a live round cause it went through and through the first person and hit the second. Awful.

I was 2 for 3 on breakaways that game, I'll take it. My guys decided to be on fire to start the game and I didn't see a shot until almost 7 minutes into the game and we were up 3 or 4 by then. Of course first shot of the game I do see - breakaway.
