I'm like 95% sure je didn't even touch the goalie! And if he did, he did after the goalie was going to his knees, so it didn't influence the play. Like, seriously, WTF?!?!

seriously though it's a pretty dumb call, even if it was CAR's goal being refused I'd be like "really..? ok..."

both his skates were out of the crease at all times, at some point this "protecting goaltenders" thing is getting ridiculous

Gallagher farted on the goalie, which prevented him from making the save
- Pat1993

That was a brutal call even I can admit that.

His skates weren’t in the crease and the league is supposedly letting pucks be next to kicked in so they increase goal scoring, so why the hell would they say no goal to that one. As I said… brutal

Yeah I thought it was a perfect move by Gallagher, getting his feet out of the crease.

Yeah bouncing off the skates is one thing but when the guy deliberately changes their blade’s angle it shouldn’t be allowed.

Oh yeah, and I know why it’s allowed, the league wants more goals, so fine then, but then they call “no goal” against the habs because part of his body was casting a little shadow in the crease? Even tho his skates weren’t in it? (frank) that.

Do you want more goals or don’t you league? Make your decision and adjust all of the rules to reflect it.

the refereeing and the way rules are applied have been an issue for quite some time now but from the looks of it the league seems to think it's totally fine, or if not they don't know what to do about it
