oh, wasn't aware you had a liking for them.
I guess the way things are going I should almost start worrying about other teams losing too much. sucks because there's no way I can enjoy this kind of season.

hey, because the habs only scored one goal, KK can't say his goal was the game winner.
positives.

lots of positives.
ARZ will get a late 1st round pick making the price for Dvorak more reasonable.
Habs will draft very early.
Chiarot (and maybe others) will be traded for more picks.
and most importantly, MB will be gone. |

meh, you say this as if his replacement will automatically make smart moves, and MB was the sole problem. I think you might be very disappointed.
and yeah my sarcasm was about the season, nothing positive about it besides the draft, as you're mentioning.

10 years? wtf are you talking about?
if the next guy keeps Timmins you can bet your house I'll complain. I was very supportive of MB for the 1st 5 years, but time to move on. |

I mean his replacement, who's to say after 2 years he doesn't make any bad decisions? not saying the next GM will be incompetent but it is a possibility, it isn't that hard to understand.

all GMs make good and bad moves. perfectly fine with me. but keeping Timmins and not finding a #1C in 10 years... sorry. that I can't get over it. do the job or move out. |

oh MB hasn't been perfect, that's for sure, but you're #1 C won't magically appear with the next GM either. agreed on Timmins, he's become a running gag at this point.

Whether he is gone or stays, that call needs to be make ASAP.
Because in the next few weeks, the Habs are going to have to make some tough decisions, and if MB is not the long term guy, bring in the new guy to make an assessment and put his plan into motion.
Replacing MB 3-4 weeks before the draft is just plain stupid.

totally agreed. that's why I asked Karine if she thought he'd still be GM by Halloween.

well, Bergevin hinted that he wanted to be back, which would mean Molson is the one who is hesitating and possibly considering other candidates. the discussion should be less about "hey, let's fire MB" and more about "hey, let's hire this guy".

Why am I enjoying the Carolina related trolling of the Habs more than the actual Habs season?
