Here's the problem, the Sabres are giving 110% effort as like this is the Stanley Cup Final. Whereas, the opposition is treating these games in the schedule for what they really are. A couple years ago when they won a multiple games in a row, everyone was just like this. How about putting ZERO expectations on them other than that they work hard every night. Regardless of the outcome. The REAL test is gonna be Feb., March and April when most teams are firing on all 8 cylinders. If they look good then, THEN it's time to start showing up to watch them.

If they don't intend on keeping him on the big roster they need to throw him right back to waivers. I know the caps did it with Fabio. When they reclaimed Fabs he went straight to the minors.

I guess if you reclaim a guy you can send him right to the minors.

They're a pretty bad team, but he's been one of their better players, at least on paper. "Something else" may apply.

The only guy with relatively bad metrics with over 30 minutes of play (excludes Joker/Mitts) is Drake. Has 4 OZ starts and 16 neutral/defensive starts.

How does he compare to the entire Ducks team? He'd be 7th best.
