But, but, he showed such great EFFORT the last game. You have to reward the try-hardest guys.
- pdx2ord
Khaira was rewarded/gifted with an NHL contract and a roster spot. Playing him with Toews and Kubalik in the top 6 is insane.

Strome floating taking a 196 ft lazy ass away from your net penalty=Back door tap in to be prevented Murphy has to slash=2 man advantage=goal
But please….keep pining for Dylan strome.
This is the same thing over and over and over again. Zero desire. Zero push. Zero pride. Half ass and about the burry themselves in October.
But please…more smart ass comments to deflect. - SteveRain
I really thought after sitting he’d show some desire out of the gate. I figured he’d never sustain it but I never expected him to start in dainty mode. |

Another young player with talent who should have had more than 50 games in Tucson. - StLBravesFan
They don't teach skating, speed or size in any league at the pro level. Strome could play 500 or 5000 games in the minors and he would still be a borderline NHL'er on a bad team. |

Yeah, I just do not get these lineup decisions, especially when we need to score

I always hold out hope & still will for players. I didn't see him give JC a reason as to why he should stay in the lineup. |

That's the stuff most of them seem to focus on in the offseason...not sure if he does the same. Did seem him shooting pucks into his garage, guarded by his adorable Golden Retriever. |

I practice putting on a carpet in the winter too, doesn't make me a PGA tour player. |

He’s a bad hockey player. He has stretches that tease but he’s all talk. Part of their problem…too many all talk guys now and not many simplifying their games and doing the small things to get things rolling.
It’s beyond frustrating and how 17 wasn’t chained to the bench after that dip poop penalty tells me all I need to know about colliton. Strome isn’t a rookie. He knows better but isn’t held accountable.
Shocker. |

I thought the talent on paper was there.
Team isn’t willing to work. How many 50/50 pucks they win a night? Very few. If any.

6 on 4 and instead of dumping it in and out manning the opponent in the corner, they try 5 passes and didn’t advance the puck an inch, let alone across the blue line.
This team has no pulse |

I was in stl for work. I enjoyed the national outlook on this team and they openly speculating about Jeremy.
Back to mouthpiece foley.
Silver lining…more they try to pimp tickets….less sell outs…then MAYBE we may see Wirtz do something. |

For all the talk about structure, systems and houses my biggest issue with Colliton’s coaching is the seeming lack of accountability. You can handle physical mistakes but not mental ones and there so many bone headed plays that don’t get corrected. |

If the Hawks don’t beat the Wings on Sunday they will end up 0 for October. Who knows who will let the Hawks beat them. How many pathetic performances can Colliton survive. 6 losses? 8 losses? 10 losses? 15 losses? |

This is the kind of team that needs John Brophy as their coach. Unfortunately he is dead. |

Same.
It’s just one of many things. All these games are blending in to one another and teams will continue to follow the script until it’s adjusted back….which I don’t think colliton has a f ing clue how to do.
3 ev strength goals in 5 games.
Still haven’t led for even a second all year long.
I really don’t know what else Wirtz needs to see here. If Stan won’t do it Danny needs to. This team needs a massive wake up call. |

How many shots over the net? Sweet lord.
Something big has to change. Overall, agree though.
Good to see some rookies & a few others work hard. Lank looked better. |
