At least it's hockey related or would you rather talk about the anti masker that caught Covid?

Using your logic, I would rather read about the anti-vaxxer who died from covid, provided the anti-vaxxer had at least watched a hockey game, sometime during their lifetime.

This too. Guy has been a scoring machine but will sit 30 games this year. Tough call

30? They only play 8 games in canadian cities.

My GF loves the ice wine from Volcanic. Good value on the dollar. I try to support Rollingdale, Little Straw as well they have produced some good wines especially Rollingdale.
- LordHumungous

I know Tim that owns Little Straw, he used to be my plumber. Puts out a good product, haven't been there for a while.

I'm genuinely surprised they lasted this long. But I don't own the team and don't have money or assets to burn. Looking forward to fans back in the building though, so at least there's a voice that can't be ignored if this crappy start continues.

I was surprised to see them come back .

Ya, I don't get it either. JB must be a really good salesman + yes man, because there's very little reason anyone should get to clean up their own mess by selling off parts of the future for this long.

I said it at the start of the year when VHG was saying wait until at least Christmas. What if this team starts out 3-7?

There isn't much patience left in this fanbase. The goodwill has been spent over the last 7 years. I sorta feel for the players because it could be a pretty nasty environment if they don't turn things around quickly. Last year's Fire Benning banner could be the tip of the iceberg.

We do...but our Captain is more focused on getting folks vaccinated to give a sh!t as to what happens on the ice. So there is that.

Ya, Dayal wrote an article the other day that I think wrapped it together nicely. The culmination of these past 7 years, the tire fire that was last season, pushing the chips in this season while selling off futures... the fans are generally excited, but the leash is sooooo short. And for the players too, last year took a toll on them โ€“ they're excited to come back and compete and put last year behind them, but if they start 3-7 or something, how much is that going to eat into them too?

JB and TG don't have much room for error from the public side of things.

Ummm sure. Just so you know, I wasn't really using logic. I was kinda trying to dumb things down for you.

I was going to say what? Yeah he plays all 7 Canadian teams at least once and the Habs or Leafs an extra time.

I can only speak from where I'm at. So here goes.

There's a point where you've heard every platitude and cliche in the book that they become disingenuous without action or end result. So much so that they insult your intelligence. I know and love the game enough to know I'm there as a fan. Only actions and results matter.

Hughes doubtful for the game with lower body injury.

Good job coaches. He misses camp and all but 2 preseason games and they pile the most ice time in the league on him right out of the gate.

They lose 1/200 of their entire salary for every day they canโ€™t be with the team. So a five day trip is 2.5% of their salary regardless of if it is 2 games or 3.

Team puck possession plummeted in the last game without him. That hurts both defense and offense.

You can't trust the Canuck's coaching staff. They (frank) up everything they touch.

Yes, I know. I made that original statement to see which dummy would respond, guess who that dummy was?
