That penalty kill is killing me. It looks like a 5 on 3 every time. They stack those two top guys, they don’t challenge the point even coming out of a scramble or bobble. Then there’s all kinds of room for a guy (like kane) to come off the sideboards as well. It’s just systematically wrong.

There's not much pressure right now on the Hawks even 5 on 5. They seem to be passing the puck wherever they want at will.

Green understands that collapsing to the slot/net is the way to go, defend the dangerous areas and give them the perimeter. It might look bad at times when teams just pass the puck around the perimeter and take a bunch of long range shots, but Demko should be able to handle the shots outside of the faceoff circles.

Shot quality > quantity is what Green's system is built on
