I started having some really annoying reflux a year ago. I'm eating gaviscon tablets like smarties now after dinner, that can't be good for me.

Yeah, that's definitely not normal. Hope he'll find something that helps you cuz you don't want to take those kinda meds all your life.

I don't think it's stress related since I'm amazingly calm in most situations.

Diet could be better but as I mentioned, at this point it'll show up whatever I eat.
