Can't hurt to send him in Laval to win a few if the team can't score and absolutely sucks for another while. - BashCH
He seems mentally strong but I think he'd resent being sent down. Kid wants to play all the time against the best based on previous interviews |

This team is such a mess. Starting from the clueless coaching staff down to the lack of top flight talent and poor D corp.
Didn’t like the Dom Ducharme as head coach from the start and still don’t. One lucky playoff run doesn’t make the man a good coach. There was zero indication heading into the playoffs he had any clue what he was doing behind the bench. |

I would doubt it and think it may sour him a bit on the Habs. Caufield loves hockey more thab most and want happy to stay in college, plus he makes a LOT more money in the NHL. Short of him personally falling off a cliff I'd keep him up no matter how bad the rest of the team gets - Takemedrunkimhome
i neglected that part, for sure a huge factor

i'll say two things
1. in my adult life i have never seen a Habs team play as well as that team did for the majority of those playoffs last year, especially in the Vegas series. yes Price blah blah but there were many games in those playoffs Montreal won because they were the better team on the night.
2. in my adult life i have never seen a Habs team play as poorly as they have in the regular under Ducharme, going back to his first games as coach. they play the game at a pace that would have been a step slow in 2002.
whole thing is mindboggling.

Latest rumour is that Bergevin is without contract because Molson wants to sell the team, and can't really take this kind of decision right now. - stinger67

Agree on both counts. The playoff run they were on and how well the whole team played from top to bottom came out of nowhere. Especially when you factor in how poorly they were playing during the regular season under Ducharme.
Having said that, the reality is more the regular season then what happened in the playoffs. That’s pretty clear based on the players and the coach. Think this is going to get uglier and not better the next few weeks. |

Agreed. It would be a tough blow, especially with expectations (from himself and others) being so high.
Anyway, the whole team isn't scoring so it's not like he's an outlier in the current situation that needs to be changed.

Don't think so either. Would be awesome if someone else had the money to buy a franchise for Quebec city as well. |

It depends if Molson's partners also want out. I know Bell has an 18% share, Woodbridge Company, Quebec Labour Federation solidarity fund; Michael Andlauer and Luc Bertrand are also part owners |

Did you gain weight with your medication? My mother in law gained like 70 lbs when she took that poop back in the day...it's a pretty old med. If it doesn't work for you, don't hesitate to mention it to your doctor. |
