I think "Mashadar" is actually a character from the books that Wheel of Time is based on lol

Mash was a nickname I picked up years ago, and when my friends and I started reading the Wheel of Time, then it just expanded to the whole mashadar.

Mashadar is a malicious, though unintelligent, entity that lurks within the depths of Shadar Logoth.

Yup.

Had a friend, we were defence partners that liked to hit people (even if we were not that big)... we were given the nicknames Bash and Mash.

Still play with some of those guys 30+ years later.

No hitting anymore tho.

LOL.

3 wins away from a Stanley cup.

You can claim what you want, the man's plan came pretty damn close to working.

Now if he should have doubled down on that core, is another story but it's not like every team has cap space available to take our vets away in 1 month time either.

Has no bearing on what might happen this year. Many significant changes since then - both in terms of personnel and situation (example : Division).

Last year was a Cinderalla story - the stars aligned for the Habs. Anyone expecting anything close to a repeat (without significant adds to the team) is just dreaming.

I don't think anyone was expecting a repeat, one of the many controversial subjects today was if we should have expected the habs to be that bad this year, with the way they've played so far after 4 games.

It was mostly an argument over the degree to which they suck and who is to blame for said sucking
