bah, it's 4 games in the season, a silent crowd would send the same message, the guys don't need to hear that poop or even watch video to know they sucked lol.. we've booed Patrick Roy, Guy Lafleur, etc., I just find at some point it's kinda silly and nothing good ever comes out of it. but like I said, I'm not the boo police, so to each his own. - Pat1993
I agree it's silly in the sense that it doesn't make Montreal a very desirable place to play with this added pressure and not a very good booster to morale. I trust the players can motivate themselves to do well, the threat of booing is hardly needed.
I guess I'm curious at this point do you think the Habs will still be fighting for a wild card spot or should Bergrvin not be reupped and start building around Suzuki and Caufield?

Just ignore them…. It hurts much more than going there and pay hundreds of dollars to boo them… - TheInformer697041
yeah, it's the fact that it is so pricey that makes me understand the booing a bit more lol |

I'm hoping the coaching staff and players manage to stabilize things and turn it around, it's just so damn ugly on the ice right now it's hard to identify anything positive. around the 20-25 game mark we'll have a pretty solid idea of where this is heading, although I know a lot of fans have already abandoned ship lol |

He can’t possibly be pissy about that. Your statement would have to be true. |

Hey guys! Sens fan here. I haven’t watched any Habs games yet this year, (except for preseason vs Ottawa).
What do you guys feel is the issue? Are the guys just not clicking? And they playing lazy? Why do you think they can’t score? Do you guys feel it’s more of a coaching/systems issue? Or could it just simply be a matter of being off to a slow start? |

Lack of system and enough talent to put the puck in the net consistently. Its been an issue for years. The playoffs glossed over it enough for people to forget that was the entire regular season last year lol.

Molson will be hard pressed to keep this management team in place. Bergy balking on his contract and DD essentially running the team into ruin with a bunch of coaches who have made some very poor decisons...so far....the team is not strong enough to compete...the fleet forwards aren't enough to mask the ineffective D corps and the weak centers....time to tear this down and re build...sell for draft picks...get new management in already. |

Defensive stability is a huge issue at the moment. Savard has been pretty rough, and as much as I like Chiarot, he's not good enough to anchor a line on his own. The 3rd pairing has been a disaster, Wideman is just, yikes.
The slow start by the offense, outside of Drouin has also been a huge issue. As much as we'd love Suzuki and Caufield to take off, they've been been thrown into the number 1 role, and they're just not ready to take on that responsibility yet.
Special teams have been a disaster. Despite our talent on the wings, the powerplay is still playing like Weber is around, and is their only option. And the defensive ineptitude mentioned above only makes the penalty killing worse.
Goaltending has been uninspiring. Allen shows flashes of solid goaltending, but right now I think he's feeling the pressure of possibly being number 1 for a while, and like when he was in St Louis, he's bending under that pressure. The fact that nobody on defense is clearing the front of the net isn't helping, either. |

Not winning doesn't mean your whole team is trash and no one wants to trade with you. See : Arizona Coyotes. |

I have never seen them not compete like that, it's not just skill that's missing.. it's the will to play. I think only Anderson showed up last night |

Lol, don't think that's the case. I was joking. I think they might turn it around, but in the meantime, it's painful to watch. |

They need a good old team gangbang out west to ciment those bonds, alot of new faces. With covid i'm not sure anyone has seen Dvorak and Savard naked yet, it's not a real team. |

Unlikely I think. Micky Mouse coach that’s in way over his head and shouldn’t have the job, lack of top end talent, weak D…..hard to see that happening. |
