Well he hasn’t traded any picks to shore up the blue line or centre ice yet. That’s what I’m concerned about. Last years run was fools gold and they lost the 2 players that got them to the final.

It's not so bad as long as our pick is top 10. We can flip everybody at the deadline for additional picks and prospects as well.

If they did not foresee this, then they really all should be fired. Instead they tried to plug holes on a singling ship with paper towels.

There are some really good parts on this team, and with proper trades, picks, development, in 4-5 years, they could be really good.

But the Habs refuse to do what is best....

Once they get their poop together they will be back in the 7-12 range in the conference. They are just a long way off from another cup run. I get they tried win while Carey was in his prime, but that window is closed and it’s time to move on.
