I get that you are frustrated, but the loser talk is to whine about it. Tonight they won a lot of battles, moved the puck up the middle really well and had chances but could not convert. They lost the game, but they played better than the score would indicate. 100% the players and coaches will take the positives to build off of and look forward to the next one.

Who is whining? There is overwhelming evidence that they stink.

Mind you the hawks made moves this offseason, traded future assets, and claimed publically they are a "playoff team". The Blackhawk front office willfully moved out of the "oh shucks, we tried hard and there are things to build off of" phase. You shouldn't let them off the hook bread!

You know who's on the ledge? JC and Stan and i see the org opening the window right now, but it doesn't look like they are going to let them back in.

Bowman is going nowhere. Hawks are stuck with him I think, even though he is the conductor of this current train to nowhere.

I get why you may think that, but it doesn't match with what they say about MAF as a person. He is a pro and I don't think he is phoning it in.

The play in front of fleury has been awful yea he given up some bad goals 2 today but God the defensive zone play is a fire drill. Good thing we have 1st round this year sorry forgot we don't. Imo JC will be given up to Thanksgiving to get this team going after that then be reevaluated. Another game in which lack of physically and team speed hurt us.

If your idea of success is winning a few shifts, having a couple decent neutral zone transitions then we're already beaten. LOL. The team got worked again. After the 1st the Hawks sucked.

Check your expectations. So much drama here tonight when they can't catch a break.

I am not seeing it, but hope I am wrong.

Though if anything will get him relieved of duties it will be watching Columbus pick some elite talent with the top 3 pick the Hawks gave them. Of course that is all way premature, but this train is totally his baby, good or bad.

Three unassisted goals against. Nuff said.

The lines tonight were a joke. Calling time out when you are down 4-0 in the middle of the 3rd period. WTF.

There were some bright spots for about 40 minutes. But after the 2nd goal it looked like amateur hour.

The 1st is lottery protected - the one element of that signing that showed good foresight

Are you kidding?? All it has been is whining on a night where they played better than they had. I don't know why it's hard to accept that they played better but blew it. There are still 78 more games, but some guys here are ready to throw in the towel.

I'll play. They played better, but still played bad. The Islanders looked like they were on their 7th keg in the 1st period. They picked up their game and the Hawks were pretty much out of it. And this is an Islanders team that was NOT playing that well anyway.

On the turnovers in our own zone, played it with such panic they over pursued everything so much so taking themselves right out of the play.

The Hawks are playing badly and have deserved to lose every game.
They Hawks have lost every game.
Colliton is a bad coach and should probably be fired.
The season is young.

All these things are true!

I didn't say that was it, but usually, playing the way they did tonight they should have found the back of the net a couple more times. Debrincat had about half a dozen good chances, some nights those chances will be 2 or 3 goals off his stick. Tonight wasn't it. Anyway, thanks for the laugh.

Maybe/maybe not. I thought he made some moves this season to at least help them compete for a playoff spot.

I get the Jones move wasn't popular with some of the fanbase but as a fan all you can do is hope it pans out.

Maybe he doesn't survive this or he becomes more administrative as Team Prez and they hire a GM. I've generally been fine with Stan and thought he did a great job identifying a Core and re-tooling the team around them that won two more Cups.

I've also said I wouldn't mind a different set of eyes on the team and maybe they need that to get them back to being more competitive.

A discussion for another day, but I am no fan of Bowman in the least. Lets let it play out, then we can revisit. I hope by some miracle I am wrong, because I don't see this guy getting fired at all.
