Stan is between a rock & a hard place
- his players & his coach
Only way he survives is to fire the coach & hope the new coach 🔥 lites a fire under the team & they rack up wins
Otherwise - he goes down with the ship |

Sorry but in all due respect you are delusional
Team is slow - week on the puck & lacks skill
Next 10 days
- JC will be gone & will not ever coach again in the NHL
- Strome will be traded
& SB may or may not be fired ? - Colbyboy
Hope you are right ! |

He gambled all those picks for Jones was the piece to get the Hawks into a playoff contention window. If this one move fails he should be terminated, but I bet he survives. Gonna be hard to fire the son of a Hockey Legend.
That said Bowman would show some leadership by dumping his hand picked coach. Would say that Stan recognizes not all his decisions are the right ones. |

Tough 3rd period but overall not a bad game by the boy's ,baby steps . I was ok with letting Q go as he looked disinterested in a rebuild .My understanding was J.C was hired to be a teaching coach during the rebuild and grow with the young team . As it looks now the rebuild has been scraped and we are all in and maybe we will need a more experienced coach to deal with that . Hard to say what Stan's next move will be . |

All those picks for Jones?
Jones was a 1st - Boqvist was a 1st
They swapped 1st this year- wash/other than stopping spots
And they gave a 1st next year.
I did not realize how valuable and unattainable they are.
Oh wait, TOR gave a 1st last year for 10gms of Foligno
Hawks got a 1st for Ryan Hartman.
1st round picks can also be busts.
Right now, Boqvist is a #4 Dman at best. Let's see if he plays 82gms and where his career goes before its judged |

I said 2-8 but damn if they don't beat the Canucks or Wings.... it's going to be a very interesting 2 weeks. |

Hey Wolfman. That would be extremely lucky as Fleury hasn't really looked all that great either. - HawkintheD
On the 4th goal he still hasn't seen the puck. |

This team has enough talent to be competitive. Good coaches have done more with less.

Kaner looks disinterested. On the third goal Kaner didn’t even come close to try to block the shot for a goal….instead he ducked. It’s sad to see Tows on the ice struggling. The coach and GM should be given the pink slip. - spanky
It's the coach and GM's fault Toews and Kane suck? I'm sorry I can't follow illogic.

Summer 2022. New Blackhawks GM Dale Tallon announces Toews and Kane will spend the remainder of their contracts on LTIR after missing a combined 150 games during the prior '21-'22 season. New Coach Denis Savard says it won't be long and their statues will be in front of the UC and names Brandon Saad Captain after coming back to Chicago in the DeBrinkat trade. |

Stan may have won that trade but it wasn’t the 1st round pick (Beaudin) that won the deal, it was the 4th round pick (Kurashev) |

My point is more just because the Hartman and Timonen trades happened once doesn't mean they can be duplicated to our benefit anytime we want. |

Maybe/maybe not. I thought he made some moves this season to at least help them compete for a playoff spot.
I get the Jones move wasn't popular with some of the fanbase but as a fan all you can do is hope it pans out.
Maybe he doesn't survive this or he becomes more administrative as Team Prez and they hire a GM. I've generally been fine with Stan and thought he did a great job identifying a Core and re-tooling the team around them that won two more Cups.
I've also said I wouldn't mind a different set of eyes on the team and maybe they need that to get them back to being more competitive. - HawkintheD
He did upgrade the roster. Even though he overpaid for Jones it’s still an upgrade to the blue line. And he added McCabe too. And MAF. And Johnson. And got Toews and Dach back.
It’s a pretty solid roster. Adding all of that to the young core we’ve established…there’s a lot to like.
There’s absolutely zero excuse for us to be this inept. The head coach MUST GO. The talent on the roster is underachieving/underperforming big time.

In other news: the Women’s Canadian Olympic hockey team decided to face men’s Canadian junior team. If your completely clueless, and can’t make an educated guess at what the results were read the article attached. If not, you don’t need to read the article to know the results.
