Me from 4 years ago would be totally confused by this lineup.

More of an indication how things are not working, than anything.

I wasn't one of them you know.

Just imagine if Bergy didn't go and get Dvorak after the KK debacle thought.

But I won't expect any miracles from a guy who's checked out and leaving for LA at the end of the season.

With Dvorak - miss the playoffs without getting a great pick and give up a 1st and 2nd

Without Dvorak - miss the playoffs while likely getting a top five pick and retain a 1st and 2nd

Yeah, I prefer imagining the team without Dvorak and it's nothing against him, at all

Yeah, I don't mind the Dvorak trade, on its own.

But I said when it was made, it does not push the needle for this team and once again, they have no clear cut plan how to fix this team.

People laugh at me for saying this organization, as a whole, is mediocre and has been for decades. But it is the truth.

They need someone with a vision and the balls to carry it out.

That is why I really appreciate a guy like Yzerman.

Completely agree. On their own the Dvorak trade, signing Hoffman and Savard, blah blah are fine moves. They had the perfect opportunity to rebuild this offseason knowing Danault wasn't coming back, knowing Kotkaniemi wanted out, knowing Weber was broken, likely knowing more about Price than they let on...instead they decided nothing wrong with being sub mediocre and just missing the playoffs again rather than doing what they needed to in order to bring in elite talent. I hate tanking, I hate the idea of it and think it's antithetical to the idea of sport and competition...but I hate this current roster construction even more I think

already announced it's Perreault. and in fairness, Paquette/Perreault.... it doesn't really matter. neither player has been useful.
- DoubleDown

I've seen Perreault ( for the good reasons) on the ice from time to time

Paquette : nowhere to be seen !

I'd rather have Drouin post here than Mr. Peanuts
