Well Hoffman should be on the right side shooter side, Caufield should move to the other side puting him on his one timer side as well, Armia should not the touch the ice.

They can finally play and umbrella with a shot treath on each side instead of playing 5 right handed shot on the same unit.

That is if they can enter the zone

so you think it's...

"well we don't have Hoffman. so we might as well do bad powerplaying."

and then

"we have Hoffman!!!! ok, break out the diagrams and get Scotty Bowman on the horn!!!"

Not saying that but the players on the ice will try to give it to Hoffman instead of Petry at the point out of instinct, changing the dynamics just because in everybody's head Hoffman is the shooter.

look i'll take anything. but it's just hard to imagine that the introduction of one player will somehow change the course of a PP that has been so wholly ineffective for so long across so many coaches.

Hey, Karine... You hear anything about the status of Poehling? Heard he was possibly concussed last game... The last thing we need is more issues with our center depth...
- Darksyde

Nothing confirmed yet but 91.3 guy who does the Rocket play by play says he thinks it looked like a neck injury and less like a concussion

Well, it's pretty much the case every year. You 5 years ago would've been surprised by Corey Perry and Eric Staal being Habs.

To be honest I was surprised by it when it was going on.

Perry was great, Staal was horrible.

already announced it's Perreault. and in fairness, Paquette/Perreault.... it doesn't really matter. neither player has been useful.

Habs fan in june: Trade Drouin for PEANUTS.

Habs fan in October: Drouin is by FAR our best player.

Armia on the 4th line means too many "good" wingers and not enough good D and centres...don't know if they'll manage to trade someone to patch those holes.

That's why I never wanted to trade him for peanuts. Guy's potential didn't disappear overnight.

I wasn't one of them you know.

Just imagine if Bergy didn't go and get Dvorak after the KK debacle thought.

But I won't expect any miracles from a guy who's checked out and leaving for LA at the end of the season.

Oh I know.

A few of us still believed in him.

Love Dvorak. Good pickup on a good contract imo.
