I agree, those picks played a huge part in forming the team now (through trade), but the actual team that was assembled was still better than the Canucks the first year.
Honestly, I'm of the opinion we should trade Miller this TDL for a pick and prospect. Klimovich looks like he could step in by that point and would make Miller redundant. The money we save could easily go towards Boeser's next contract and a replacement for Hamonic. - DariusKnight

the theme that I have been noticing, is that we have been so charmin soft for the last decade, that when we get a player who is gritty, we worship the ground he walks on. We then get another player who is gritty, and we start to think that one player is expendable, but the reality is, we need way more players who are gritty than just a couple. If its about building a new culture, then it can't just be one or two players.
