All Canadian goalies who have played so far this season:

Probably the top options who aren't Carey Price:

Jordan Binnington
Carter Hart
Darcy Kuemper
Marc-Andre Fleury

Middle-tier options who you could, theoretically consider based on their play, but they lack experience or consistency:

Adin Hill
Jake Allen
Chris Driedger
Mike Smith
Tristan Jarry

Lower-tier options who we probably shouldn't consider:

Jonathan Bernier
Braden Holtby
Laurent Brossoit
Sam Montembeault
Carter Hutton
Dustin Tokarski
Cam Talbot

. . . Canada is not deep in net.

Ya, that's not great.

I agree with all of this, I felt like Muzzin was improved last night so at least he's trending in the right direction.
- joel878

Yeah, I thought Muzzin was better last night than he's been every other game so far this season, but still not where I feel he needs to be.

In fairness, the WHO has quietly already stated they no longer consider it a pandemic, its now endemic.... i.e. the best we can hope for is to contain it, and deal with occasuonal outbreaks. Because its here permanently.

This is what I was saying, anyone thinking it’ll be gone eventually needs to stop because it won’t happen unless the new variants are wayyy less contagious. Fantasy dream land

feels like every game so far the Leafs have been "goalied"
does that happen for all teams?

or is it just the Leafs doing it to themselves..somehow someway?

- senstroll

Hard to win when you average 2 goals a game.

Sadly Spatso shot from the hip, and his lack of fact checking proved him to be an idiot. Again

Campbell is first in the league in GAA and 2nd in save % overall.

Kind have to be a simpleton, out for a morning troll, to suggest goaltending is the team's weakness right now.

The problem with posting stuff like this is that you look like an idiot if you don't fact check first. A simple check of stats and facts will tell you the team, so far, is among the leaders in lowest goals against per game.

Then again you're the same div who spewed bollox how the Leafs made a mistake drafting Matthew's over Laine. So coming across as an idiot seems more of a natural outcome for you.

You know that is urban legend. It is what folks might want to believe.

If you check the long threads on the theme you will note that I never once before the draft...ever said anything other than I would take Matthews with the first over all pick.

I did promote the idea that folks needed to discuss Laine as an option. And, when Laine began to light it up as a rookie I did wonder if the right choice had been made. But, and, I think you know this, I never advocated for the Leafs to draft Laine the #1 pick!

They will start going in...outshooting teams by 10 a game.

Nylander and Spezza hit back to back posts. Shesterkin robbed a few guys.

Matthews misses an empty net and misses the net on that hard one timer.

Saw a stat, last game was the most slot shots by a team since Boston did it dating back to one of the first games of last season.

Has nothing to do with "living in fear", you're being cautious.

Agreed but the good doctor needed to make sure he was heard.

maybe he'll make the Leafs roster next season?

Knowing Leafy luck, he'll break both his legs and an arm in a freak balloning accident.

not sure, but is spatso trying to say that a better strategy come playoffs is to get outshot and out played, but just have a hot goalie?

No doctor needed, it’s fantasy dream land if you think it’s just going to magically disappear and you will never get it.

How the (frank) do you think that something that spreads that easily is just going to disappear?

- Santo_44

Why are you so rattled? Show me where I ever said it was going to magically disappear and I would never get it.

Your medical takes are about as hot as your takes on the Leafs.

As a doctor you should be a lot calmer and more controlled than you are showing here, I'm concerned for you.

Campbell was nothing short of excellent yesterday as he has been in every game. The first goal was a floater but he made several exceptional saves, just not as many as Shesterkin.
- winsix

Knuckle puck screwed him. poop's hard to judge. Sucks for Campbell since he played so well.

Wasnt everybody. I didnt know much about wilster...so he wasnt on my radar. I believed I wanted Ehlers or Perlini.
Im happy with Wilster but would have been happy with Ehlers as well.
Glad they did not get Perlini.....and of course Ritchie.

I also thought Virtanen would have been a good pick....LOL Wow....got that completely wrong.

- Fakepartofme

What's his face on TSN..Poulin...he was on the management team when drafting Nylander over Ehlers. He said they ultimately thought Nylander had a more talented skill set and had a higher ceiling but it was pretty close when choosing them.

I'd take either of them...Pretty evenly valued players imo.

Nylander is a good player on a decent contract. I'm happy he's on the team carrying all the other dead weight around.

I think Nylander's ceiling was on display at the worlds couple years ago. If he can get consistent then watch out.

Also, Nylander is pretty and Ehlers has a stupid face.
