Up until last season, he averaged 22 goals a season.
Last year he was on pace for 29 which is an anomaly compared to the other season (1 other at 26)
But when he signed his deal it 19 - 22 goals a season.

As ive said though, I agree he's on a goal scorer cold streak for sure. But he isnt useless.

I didn't say he is useless, I said he's been useless. There is nothing I like about his game so far this year. He's talented and I expect him to pull through. In his salary bracket there's never much rope.

100% of any criticism levelled at Mitch will always be tied to his contract, that's his doing.

I'm watching Zibanejad killing penalties and he didn't need an extra few million to do it, pretty sure he's not from New York either. He may have even signed a contract earlier in his career that he ended up being underpaid on, and he didn't need to fold the team over a barrel to make up for it.

Id agree with the above statement if it was his first 82 games and he only potted 30pts.
But he has359pts in 358 reg season games
25pts in 32 playoff games.
