You might love MAF but the whole country of Canada never trusted or loved him
Ask yourself why was he never chosen to be the goalie for Team Canada Answer you fool is they NEVER trusted him and NEVER will. Not a Steeler fan either That insults my intelligence. I attended the first Pens game every in 1967 I forgot more about hockey than to stupid arse will ever know

It’s cute that the nursing home lets you have computer time.

They (team Canada) trusted him to be there (Olympics) in case something happened to Brodoeur or Luongo in 2010...he was part of that gold team. Has a gold medal. They trusted him over Price, Smith, Turco, Osgood, Ward and others that year....

Love maf and I think the hank vs maf narrative is wrong. Fleury was a great goaltender and I think if he played on a defence first team he would have had all kinds of Vézina seasons. But hey 3 stanley cups is alright too.
- 10inchTerror

This is fact. Those Bylsma teams never played team defense after the cup year. Should have fired Disco at least 3 years before they did.

MAF did the heavy lifting in the 16/17 playoffs.

Watching some of those Rangers teams with Torts... There were like 4 guys laying on the ice in front of him blocking shots all the time. It was ridiculous at times.

Now you criticize style of play You really are stupid and remember stupid is a mental illness and there is NO CURE

And MAF did no heavy lifting He was a capable backup and Vegas finally got tired of his crap to Now Chicago will find out how bad he is For the first time in his career he is playing for a horrible team Let see what happens Gave up 4 goals in each game he has played

Impressive start by Pens, gotta love Tanev&McCann with Seattle, and DRW indeed took a step forward - sad they let TBL escape.

Definitely a favorite (especially on paper & with Bob looking solid early)... others like WPG or DAL starting slowly, but ok, season is young. Guess Sid will be back this weekend, and strangly we didn't read much about Geno (~Dec.) till now.

The Geno timeline was out for a while. Maybe not official word from the team, but sites were giving the expected recovery from his surgery.

I think it was just easy to miss in the off-season.

Caught my first Tripletail on Saturday in the Gulf, and got to make some lemon caper cream sauce with it. Honestly one of the softest most tender fish I've ever had. It was so (frank)ing good. Crazy that they look like (frank)ing dinosaurs when you catch them.
