Then where does Tiffoli fit?

Not with RS/CC.

- Mashadar

By RS I'll assume you mean NS and today's lines at practice had Toffoli-Suzuki-Caufield so that's as good a guess as any

Not even sure where Hoffman fits in this team, other than getting Perrault off the Power Play. He does not fit with RS/CC, don't think they are breaking up the Dvorak line any time soon, and Tiffoli is a better fit with Evenas / Gallagher.

Hopefully, Edmundson limits Wideman playing time, but I expect Kulak to be the odd-man out. I would not be surprised of Romanov sits games so Wideman gets to play more.

Lots of parts, some of them good, not all of them fit.

lol i love how the Dvorak line has 2 goals in 3 games and we're like THAT LINE IS UNTOUCHABLE!!!!!

not that i disagree. it just makes me sad.

Brothers...it happens, I was called my older brother's name by teachers every year growing up. Hell, even with hockey I confuse Keith and Wayne all the time

yeah we're in a very familiar place with this team right now. as soon as the opposition scores that second goal, it's game over.

We are in 2017 right? Is Ales Hemsky still with the team?

Yeah, sorry, was typing fast on a work video conferrence.

I just do not think the TF/NS/CC line had legs/size to be successful, unless it is a wide open speed game.

Any time the opposition clogs up the middle / blue line, that trio does nothing.

So sure, sometimes they are fine.

My guess is more often they will have problems.

Hoffman is what we need because it should take Armia out of the powerplay
- M. Arachide

As much as I like Gallagher, if he's on the powerplay, he should be in front of the net trying to do chaos, and getting cross checks. I don't like to see him attempting puck control along the boards or behind the goal line. Not his "forte"

Fine, he has 66% of the Habs goals this season.

But... no (frank)ing assists.

Are we suppose to just look at the left column and ignore the right one?

Seriously.

I agree with you. Some times you can have lesser pieces that form a greater sum of their parts and some times you can have nice pieces that don't fit together.

I keep thinking that guy Armia is one out of every ten games is the ideal winger for Suzuki/Caufield, even on his off wing. Maybe Lehkonen even. Third guy needs to be a puck retriever and board guy, not necessarily a scorer

I knew they would have transition issues with that defense, but it goes beyond that. Aside from the Dvorak line, there is little to no chemistry

Full agreement. Standing in front, taking abuse, tipping pucks and cleaning up garbage is a valuable skill. Put guys where they can be successful

i think a lot of us expected Suzuki/Caufield to pick up where they left off. but man have they struggled.

it's 67% learn how to round out numbers you (frank)ing moring. It's 0.5 or above you round up, if it's .49 or lower you round down. Oh and it's 66.66666666% by the way because if have no faith you now 5th grade math.

Unless the Dvorak line really goes into hyper drive, I suspect NS/CC will likely see tough opposition most nights... and probably larger players too.

A guy like Gallagher, who is also small, sculpted his body into a rock and can deal with that... I am not sure these guys will ever do the same. Not a knock on them, just not their game / style of play.

I will never give him the 1% more credit you think he deserves.

EDIT: Show me some (frank)ing right column numbers, and maybe I will change my mind.
