He's not winning anything where he is playing now, and they are so screwed for the cap that they are paying some guy a one day tryout to play backup. If he goes to Arizona, he will get a massive payday and at least play at home and for his childhood team.

Maple Leafs vs Arizona... Leafs were believed to be a cup fave when Travares signed. I'm pretty sure if he was from Phoenix he wouldn't have been in a big rush to sign there.
