Kucherov about to have surgery, go on LTIR, lighting to acquire eichel and win the cup again.
You heard it here first. I should have known picking kucherov with my first pick was a bad choice.

Yahoo still won't let me IR any player. Also for some reason I can't manually move anyone. I only have the option to drop them.

Mikey D is too small. Silvos has size and athleticism. It’s not close imo
- CanuckDon

I think the opposite. Mikey is more athletic and the better Goalie. Winning games matters more than size in net.

I’m not a goaltending expert, in fact I dislike all goalies. But, Silovs inspires confidence when he plays. Appears calm, quick and takes up a lot of the net. Mikey looks like Garland’s cousin and flops all over the place. I know who id rather play in front of

Not sure how it works but I had to claim an IR guy (Max Domi) to open up the slot. Not sure why you can't move guys. I just tap the position on my phone when I go to my team and the player and position option comes up.

I'd rather play in front of a winner who keeps pucks out of the net. Regardless of style.

Judging by practice lines, looks like Miller is down to 3c with podkolzin and Dowling. Richardinson 4c with lammiko and Highmore. Boeser with hoglander and petey.

his records sort of prove it. Hard to knock a guy with a memorial cup and a very good junior career, not to mention his AHL numbers are very good as well.

.916 sace percentage on a pretty bad team is nothing to sneeze at. If anything, i would think Silovs takes the starting role when halak or demko go down and mikey comes up for a few starts.

Yes. He still could be vaccinated and want to protect his family from exposure through him. He has a child at home that is higher risk for complications and the nature of hockey makes the risk of contracting it greater. I respect the man's choice.

True, we just don’t know. Perhaps he’s thinking that in a month or two things will shift and the risks will decrease significantly, so he didn’t want to opt out completely?

Just saying if it is vaccine hesitancy that things are getting more difficult instead of less difficult, to participate in a limited basis.

Happy to see the Silovs/DiPietro debate already raging here. This should be fun to watch!

New blog touches on that and other Abby happenings from the weekend, as well as setting up the Canucks' Tuesday visit to Buffalo...
