The first riots were a reaction to the game.

The second riots were so planned and everyone knew about it prior.
The situation was really mishandled badly.

You’re right, it’s a beautiful city with incredible scenery and the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to, a place called Vij’s.

I do NOT understand the desire to see Strome play....we know how this goes.....he gets benched or scratched....comes back into the lineup and makes a noticeable difference for a game or two and then reverts back to his normal game....and then ends back in the pressbox until the cycle repeats itself.

The idea of packaging him with LTIR Shaw is fantastic idea....kills 2 birds with 1 stonea and frees up more room.....Hawks then have flexibility add NOW or later on to address holes or pocket the space.

Is strome leaving here going to be a detriment? I don't believe so...I would rather see Borgstrom and/or Gaudette get chances then DS.

He's still a 45-50 point NHL player over 82 games when healthy. Those don't grow on trees and regardless of his faults I think he is probably better than the options they have right now.

Its completely valid to give up on him at this point even though he has been hit by some untimely injuries but it isn't like he's shown nothing over the last few seasons.

However, there is definite skill there and if he goes to Vegas, Montreal or Columbus and puts up 50 points this season and the Hawks don't have anything past Toews (or Toews gets injured) and Dach that would be kind of poopy.

Yet somehow he puts points up. I can't explain it. If he was to play it better be with speed that can cover for his defensive deficiencies. My problem with that is I want the speed attacking, not helping defend.

Wayne is OK in a short interview but forget it as an introverted studio personality or analyst who might need to critique a player or a team. But the U.S. TV partners wanted to spend big on a name and he couldn't refuse. Doubt he will be there very long.

Colliton said Seth Jones will play so much that he won't have just one partner — he'll play some with de Haan, Stillman and even Gustafsson. The McCabe-Murphy pair will be more "static."

An absolute beautiful city.
Best hockey experience was there for the 2010 Winter Olympics Gold Medal game between Canada and the US.
Impossible to get tickets to the game but they put up giant tv's outside so fans could watch the game. They estimate 300,000 were outside the arena watching.
It was an amazing party up until Kane scored the tying goal late in the 3rd. Silence, you could have heard a pin drop outside. Massive party after Crosby's golden goal!

Buffalo no. Milwaukee isn’t bad and Cleveland’s gotten better. So has Detroit since I’ve been up here (not taking credit) though you could argue the D and CLE couldn’t have gotten worse.

Windsor is great with all the casinos. You should go up the road and look around Toronto, nice city as well. Down by the harbor is the nicest tourist area
Toronto's stadium is pretty nice as well, great atmosphere. I would wear my Hawks jersey and have lots of great banter thrown at me.

Hawks were the team that closed out Maple Leaf gardens - can't remember the score, but the Hawks won. Probert scored a goal and had a fight.
