It's nice to hear a guy just call the game instead of doing schtick. It's forcing Edzo to just analyze the game vs him doing schtick also.

Wouldn't be bad if occasionally the schtick included actual humor but I think Pat and Edzo missed that memo.

Im sure he can use his great experiences as an amazing Dmen to help the group out.

That, along with his long AHL coaching history gives confidence to turn it around.

I've said it before and I'll say it again he's like a dog he forever chases the ball, but like most dogs doesn't realize where the ball is going to end up. Like his pass to McCabe you don't have a pass (frank)ing ice it, but he doesn't even have the hockey sense to do that.

Best Hawks so far tonight(IMHO), not necessarily in order, Dcat, Dach, and Kubalik. I sure would like to see Kubalik signed.

Agreed but I'd add Hagel as usual. Good things always happen when he's forechecking.
I suggest that Toews and Tyler Johnson switch. TJ hasn't shown me much so far in 2 games.

Yeah yeah that is how I too think about Murphy. Maybe we get lucky and sone team trades fir him at deadline. I suggest Galvas could be fine in a third pair, maybe with Stillman. But it really hurts that especially Mitchell or Beaudin haven't developed into better dmen - I hope at least Mitchell becomes a #2 pair. This "development" makes trading Murohy more difficult. I think it is asking a lot to expect Kakynuk to be rock solid. He looks to be an emerging dman, still a bit green. Personally I'd risk perhaps a bit of help Murphy provides in a playoff drive, just to move this too slow skating dman in favor of someone else to slot into lineup.. I patiently await kids to develop into a descent NHL dman.....maybe Mitchell to AHL is a good move. Really need kids to improve and both DeHahm and Murphy be tailights.

Murphy is a stay at home dman who should be the last line of defense but instead they got him running around in his own end and just like on that last goal against he could of stopped the forward from getting to the net instead ushering him to the puck because the coach is to dumb to know what to do

Can't stop thinking about the post I saw (here? reddit? twitter? comments?) after the last game that Seattle - a team full of guys who've never played together and were castoff from their teams - looks much more organized and better than the Hawks right now.

Sincerely how does the pk look? They have the triangle set up in the center of the goalie, not over persuing to the boards or out high or behind the net, sometimes the low forward goes to high but most times they dont and its very hard for the opponent to score, it'll take a perfect shot

This team appears to have stopped playing. Basically going through the motions at least they are constant with that... smfh
