How long has the NHL been awarding a shootout win as one-goal win in the standings so that it positively affects the goal differential? And who gets credited with the winning goal - R2D2?

On the NHL website they, they have the Sabres at 7 goals for and 2 against for a +5 differential.

I was hoping he would pan out. Makes the ROR trade not so horrific. He’a got a beautiful shot, and Is finally using his size and reach to buy space. He could easily be a 30 goal guy for us in the future

I think he's been terrific for this team. He hasn't finished opportunities but he generates a ton of chances.

After years of depth forward slugs, guys like Ruotsalainen, Hinostroza, Asplund, Caggiula and Bjork are a breath of speedy air.

In retrospect in makes a ton of sense to have the big guy play the position that affords him the opportunity to use his size by giving him more space. His defensive game on the backcheck has been great
