Broken wrist for Mitts? Looks like it happened on that breakaway he sprung Vinny on. Got slashed pretty good.
- The_Inkwell

couldnt believe that wasn't a hook or a slash.. the broken wrist explains mitts reaction to it though

Read back through,
6-8 weeks is very tough. Bury Eakin in Rochester and play Routsalainen and Hayden full time.
Tage to 1c, Cozens to 2c, Routs to 3c, Hayden 4c

Sabres are saying a couple weeks ish

"They'll both be out for at least a couple of weeks so it's not short term," Granato said. "Our doctor will be evaluating that. There's still thought that it could be right around that range and there's thought that it could go a little bit longer than that, so it's too early to tell on both those injuries."

"In most cases it takes around 6 to 8 weeks to recover from a broken arm or wrist. It can take longer if your arm or wrist was severely damaged. You will need to wear your plaster cast until the broken bone heals. The skin under the cast may be itchy for a few days but this should pass."

Just going by what Granato said. Did they say it was broken? I don't think anyone said that.

“'Mittsy' [Mittelstadt] is an upper-body injury, and [he and Jokiharju will] both be out for a couple of weeks. It’s not short-term for them," Granato said following Friday's practice. "The doctors are still evaluating them. There’s thought it could be around that range, and there’s thought that it could be a little more than that. It’s too early to tell on both those injuries.”

after watching the replay, I will stick with broken wrist guess

Had an assist last in Seattle debut.

I don’t get why they didn’t claim him

There's really no good excuse, after most of the experimenting at C in the preseason failed. An injury was inevitable, and now they are left with no good options.

Ryan O’Reilly - #2 center on a losing team in Buffalo

Tage Thompson - #1 center on a winning team in Buffalo

What a heist

Yeah, don’t get it at all.

He’s a perfect guy to give a shot to on a rebuilding team.

Guys like Marchessault and Verheage were in the same spots

I know we won and it was a fun game to watch. But how the heck did the habs make it to the finals?

I get price wasn’t playing. But that overall roster sucks

No Price, No Weber, short season, played in the Canadian division all of last year, were built more like a playoff team in the 90's to hit hard and slow other teams down.

What was it… Price, danault (LA), Hoffman?, the offer sheet guy… that’s 4 solid pieces missing right there…

Does caufield, ‘22 first, plus, plus, plus?… get anywhere on an eichel deal? Do the even have another 2-3 pieces that would help?

Caufield
22 first. - unprotected
23 first - conditioned/ protected
+ - any RHD worth acquiring?
+ - division/conference compensation

Why wouldn't they? Each get to pick. Let's them all be individuals and have fun with it. Seems like a good little idea for team comradery to me.
