I wonder how bad the list would look if the the players on the Leafs got to pick their own personal goal song.

There was a time where the Bruins goal song was used by Toronto and hearing it didn't immediately make me run into a corner, hold my knees to my chest and rock back and forth fighting back tears. I think the Leafs actually used that song before the Bruins did - it makes me think of a lot of pain and Mats Sundin to be honest. More pain than Mats unfortunatley.

There are some custom 'mixes' in there like the Metallica "GO LEAFS GO" too. lol

I think it's time for something new, I liked the 2011-2013 goal song alot more than the current. Sheepdogs in 2015-2016 was good too as was the 2016-2017 Monster Truck mash up.

Think we're gonna need it written in old Shakespearean, just so there can be more confusion and debates going forward.

I like Crazy Train, Let's Start a Riot, Get the Party Started . . . something upbeat that pounds in an arena.

Cheesy options like Taking Care of Business, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust would still be better than the crap they have now.

Mcdavid signed his deal when the cap was near 5M less than when Matthews signed his.

Mcdavids 12.5 M contract turns to 13.3M the year later for percentage of the cap.

13.3M was the Mcdavid comparable for Matthews.

I didnt watch much pre season but I feel like the Leafs held onto guys longer than other teams...guys like Muzzin, Holl, JT are obviously still shaking off rust. They should have been in more pre season games.

We are talking 12-12.5M on an 8 year deal. 700K less and 4.5M less over 8 years.

They need to take the stupid rule out of the game. The "safety" argument made sense in the days of bad equipment. If you score you score. Simple as if you slam your ass into the puck or headbutt it in. I'm fine with the high stick rule, but could be convinced against it as wel.
